The agreement
between us.
Using Easybie means agreeing to this. It is short on purpose, and it is written to be read rather than clicked past.
Easybie is run by Arifur Rahman. It is currently in beta: things are missing, things will change, and some of them will break.
In force since 7 September 2026.
The short version
- What you write stays yours. We do not take a licence to it beyond running the site.
- Follow the community standards — those 9 rules are the whole of what is enforced.
- Leave whenever you like, and take everything with you.
- It is free, there is no advertising, and nothing about you is sold.
Easybie was rebuilt, and this document was written again from scratch rather than edited. If you had an account on the old platform, the terms you agreed to then were somebody else's software describing itself; these describe this one.
- Nothing new is collected, shared or sold as a result of the rewrite. The privacy notice lists what is stored, line by line.
- What is actually enforced is now one list — the community standards — rather than rules spread across several documents.
- Leaving is unchanged and still complete: you can export everything and delete the account yourself, without asking anybody.
If you do not accept these, that is a fair answer. Export your account and close it — your writing comes with you.
Your account Copy a link to this section
One person, honestly described Copy a link to this section
Give a real email address you can receive mail at — it is how you get back in and how you are told if something happens to the account. You may hold more than one account and switch between them; you may not use several to get around a restriction, or to make one person look like several.
Old enough Copy a link to this section
You need to be at least 13, and old enough in your own country to agree to this without a parent. Your date of birth is asked once when you sign up, is shown to nobody, and cannot be edited afterwards — if it is genuinely wrong, ask and it is corrected. What that check does is record what you stated; it does not verify it, and an account we are told belongs to somebody under 13 is closed.
Your password is yours to look after Copy a link to this section
We cannot read it and cannot recover it — we can only let you set a new one. What happens under your account is treated as done by you, so if you think somebody else is in it, change the password, which signs every other device out.
What you post Copy a link to this section
It stays yours Copy a link to this section
You keep every right you had in your posts, photographs and articles. You are not signing them over, and this is not one of those agreements with a clause granting a worldwide, perpetual, sub-licensable right to do anything with your work.
What we need permission for Copy a link to this section
Only what running the service requires: storing what you post, showing it to the people you chose to show it to, making the smaller copies needed to display it, and passing it on when somebody you allowed shares or reposts it. That permission exists so the software can work, and it ends when you delete the thing — except where somebody else has quoted or reposted it, which is their copy and stays with their post.
It has to be yours to post Copy a link to this section
Do not upload other people's work without the right to. If something of yours is here without permission, report it as a copyright complaint and a person will read it — or, if you have no account, use the request form. If something of yours is removed and you believe that was wrong, the same form is how you say so, and it goes to a person rather than back to whoever complained. Accounts that keep doing this lose the ability to post. You can also write to info@easybie.com.
Say when something is paid for Copy a link to this section
If a post or an article is a paid partnership, carries paid links, or is about something you were given, label it — the control is in the composer. Easybie pays nobody and takes nothing, so this is only about the reader knowing.
The rules, and what happens Copy a link to this section
The community standards are the whole of it. Nothing is enforced here that is not on that page.
When one is broken, a post may be removed, or an account warned, restricted or suspended. You are always told which, and why, and that message is sent whatever your notification settings say. Decisions are made by a person reading a report, never by a count of reports, and both outcomes are recorded.
Repeatedly breaking the rules is treated as its own thing: an account whose content keeps being removed can be restricted or suspended for the pattern, after a warning. So can one that repeatedly files complaints that go nowhere — the standards say what that means and what it does not.
There is also a practical limit on how fast an account can post, follow, message and report. That is anti-spam plumbing rather than a judgement about you, and hitting one is not a mark against the account.
What we do, and what we do not promise Copy a link to this section
Free, and not funded by you Copy a link to this section
Easybie costs nothing to use. There is no advertising, no paid badge, no subscription and nothing about you is sold. If that ever changes it will be said here first and plainly, not discovered.
Beta means beta Copy a link to this section
The service is provided as it is. There is no uptime guarantee, features may change or be withdrawn, and while everything is done to avoid losing data, the honest position is that a backup of anything you would hate to lose should not live only here. The export button exists partly for that.
What we are and are not responsible for Copy a link to this section
Easybie is free, so what follows is the ordinary arrangement for something given away rather than sold: we are not liable for indirect losses — lost profit, lost business, lost data, or something that went wrong because a post did not arrive. We are liable for what the law does not let anybody sign away, which in Norway and the EU includes death or personal injury caused by negligence, and our own gross negligence or deliberate wrongdoing. Nothing above touches those, and any clause that appeared to would simply not be enforceable.
Other people's posts are theirs Copy a link to this section
Easybie hosts what people write; it does not endorse it. Links lead to sites we do not run, and a video plays from a company with its own rules.
Do not attack the service Copy a link to this section
No scraping at scale, no automated account creation, no attempts to break, overload or get around the security of the site or other people's accounts. Reporting a security problem you found is welcome and is not this.
Ending it Copy a link to this section
You, at any moment Copy a link to this section
Settings → Account → Delete account. Nobody has to approve it. It happens immediately and it cannot be undone, so download your data first if you want it.
If Easybie closes Copy a link to this section
A beta run by one person can end, and pretending otherwise in a document like this would be the least useful thing on the page. If Easybie shuts down you get at least 30 days' notice, and the export stays working for the whole of it — so the last thing to stop working is the thing that lets you leave with your writing. If it is ever handed to somebody else to run, you are told who before it happens, and closing the account remains one button.
Us, for a reason we will give you Copy a link to this section
An account can be restricted or suspended for breaking the standards. You are told which and why. Neither runs out on a timer and neither is permanent: both are lifted by a person, and the log of what was done is kept.
The legal remainder Copy a link to this section
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away — where a clause and your statutory rights disagree, your statutory rights win, and if any part of this turns out to be unenforceable the rest still stands. If it ever comes to a court, that is the Norwegian courts; if you live elsewhere in the EEA, you keep the right to bring it in your own country.
Disagreeing without a court. If we decide something about your account or your post and you think it is wrong, say so through the request form — that is the internal route and it needs no account. Beyond it, you may take a dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, and as a consumer in the EEA you can use your national consumer authority; in Norway, Forbrukertilsynet. Using either does not cost you the right to go to court instead.
Reaching us. The single point of contact for these terms, for authorities, and for anything legal is the request form, or info@easybie.com. Correspondence is accepted in English and Norwegian.
How your data is handled is in the privacy notice, which is part of this agreement. Verification is described in the verification policy.
If these terms change in a way that affects you, you will be told before it takes effect — not by a banner that disappears, and not by a version number quietly incrementing at the bottom of a page. If you do not want the new ones, the answer is the same as it always is here: export your writing and close the account, and neither of those needs our permission. Continuing to use Easybie after they take effect is how you accept them.
Easybie is operated by ARIFUR RAHMAN, a sole trader (enkeltpersonforetak) registered in Norway, organisation number 918 509 755. A sole trader has no separate legal personality: the business and the person are the same party, and that party is who these terms are with. Anything about your own data goes through the privacy policy, which names the same person as the data controller.
That is all of it.
If a sentence here does not match what the product does, that is a bug worth telling us about.
