Today posts
A post that is deleted a day later — deleted, not hidden.
Today in the composer marks a post as only true today. Twenty-four hours after you write it, it is gone.
The composer tells you the exact time before you post it: Gone by 6:40pm tomorrow.

Deleted. The post, its pictures and the replies to it are removed from the database — not flagged as hidden, not archived, not kept behind a screen somewhere.
This is the whole point of the feature. A post that promises to disappear and quietly stays forever is the kind of thing that turns up years later in somebody else's news story, and storing "expired" while keeping the row would make the promise on the composer a lie.
Once its time is up it is readable by nobody, including you.
The one exception Copy a link to this section
If somebody reports the post before it expires, a copy nobody can see is kept until the report has been dealt with. A report about a post that no longer exists cannot be answered.
What it is for Copy a link to this section
"At the airport." "Anyone free tonight?" "This is what I am listening to." Things that stop being true roughly a day later and do not belong in a permanent timeline.
It is an ordinary post in every other way: the same composer, the same pictures, the same audience choice, the same blocks, mutes, reports and alt text.
Nobody is told who looked Copy a link to this section
There is no viewer list on a Today post, the same as everywhere else on Easybie.
