Replies, reposts and saving
The other four buttons under a post, and which of them anybody else can see.
Reply Copy a link to this section
Opens the post with its conversation. Replies read oldest first, so a thread reads in the order it happened.
A reply is an ordinary post: it has its own audience, and it can carry pictures and a poll.
Repost Copy a link to this section
Puts the post on your own timeline and on your profile, credited to whoever wrote it. Pressing it again undoes it.
A repost is a public act — it appears on your profile — so the number is shown to everybody.
Save Copy a link to this section
Files the post away for later. Saving is private. The author is not told, nobody sees what you have saved, and there is no public count.
Everything you have saved is under Saved in the sidebar.
The one number attached to saving is how many people have saved a post, and only that post's author can see it. It is a signal for the person who wrote the thing, not a public score — and it is the one count that stays visible even to an author who has hidden their numbers.
Share Copy a link to this section
Sends a link away from Easybie. On a phone it opens the system share sheet; everywhere else it copies the link.
It is set slightly apart from the four buttons before it on purpose. Those four are toggles — they hold a state and pressing them twice undoes it. This one is not, and a control somebody has misread as reversible is the one that teaches them not to trust the row.
There is deliberately no row of social network buttons here. Those load code from other companies on every post you look at, and report you to them before you press anything.
