How your posts did

The only numbers Easybie keeps about your own posting, who can see them, and the things it deliberately does not measure.

How your posts did is at /insights, listed in the main menu and in Settings. It shows what happened to the things you published, and it shows them to nobody but you.

Pick a window: 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. There is no longer view.

The four numbers Copy a link to this section

  • Posts — how many you published in the window
  • Reactions — every reaction across them, all six kinds counted together
  • Replies — every reply to them
  • Nobody reacted — how many got none

The last one is there on purpose. A screen that only shows what worked cannot tell you anything you did not already enjoy knowing.

Pictures against words Copy a link to this section

Your average reactions per post, split by whether the post had a picture on it.

It is an average, not a total, so posting forty pictures and four sentences does not make pictures look better than they were.

Your best in this period Copy a link to this section

The post that got the most reactions, if anything got any. A period where nothing got a reaction shows nothing here rather than crowning a zero.

Everything you posted Copy a link to this section

Your most recent twenty posts in the window, each with its reaction and reply count. The four numbers at the top cover everything in the window; this list shows the newest twenty of them.

Drafts and scheduled posts are not counted anywhere on this screen. Only what was actually published.

What is not here, and will not be Copy a link to this section

There are no views. Easybie does not count who opened a post, how far they scrolled, or how long they looked. That number does not exist to show you.

There is no list of who did what. The screen counts; it does not name. (The reactions on a single post can be opened from the post itself — that is a different screen.)

There is no location, device, age or time-of-day breakdown. The only comparison this screen draws is pictures against words.

It never says why. At this size most of the difference between two posts is chance, and a screen that explains chance is a screen that teaches you something untrue.

A few practical things Copy a link to this section

  • Numbers are counted the moment you load the screen. It does not refresh on its own — reload it, or change the window
  • The window is rolling, not calendar. A post published 30 days and one hour ago has just fallen out of the 30-day view
  • Deleting a post removes it from these numbers
  • Hiding your counts from other people, in your profile settings, does not hide anything here. This screen is you looking at your own work
  • Articles are counted here too, as posts — an article is a post with a title and a body. Its own reader count is a different measurement and is shown on the article itself
