What is not allowed here
The nine things you can report, which are also the nine rules — and what happens when somebody breaks one.
Easybie has nine rules, and you already know them: they are the nine reasons you can report something. Nothing is enforced here that is not on this list, and nothing on this list is ignored.
The nine Copy a link to this section
- Attacks or harasses someone. Going after a person rather than an argument.
- Illegal, or a threat of violence.
- Spam or a scam. Including anything whose real purpose is to get somebody somewhere else.
- Pretending to be someone else. Impersonating a person, a business or an organisation. This is also why usernames cannot differ only by punctuation.
- Shares private information. Somebody's address, their number, their documents — anything they did not choose to publish.
- Suicide or self-harm. Content promoting or encouraging it.
- Seriously misleading. Not "wrong", and not "I disagree" — misleading in a way that does real harm.
- Uses my work without permission. Copyright.
- Something else. Because a fixed list always misses something, and a report that has to be squeezed into the wrong category is a report that gets read as the wrong problem.
Three of them jump the queue Copy a link to this section
Threats, self-harm and harassment go to the top of the review queue ahead of everything else, however long the others have been waiting.
A threat and a spam complaint are not the same kind of thing. They are time-critical, and a queue that treats them alike is a queue where the ordinary volume buries them.
What happens to a report Copy a link to this section
A person reads it. There are two outcomes and both are recorded, including the decision to leave something up — a moderation log that only records removals is a log that cannot be reviewed.
You are told when your report has been looked at. You are not told what was decided about somebody else's account, because that is between them and us.
The person reported is never told who reported them.
What reporting is not Copy a link to this section
Reporting does not hide anything by itself and it does not block anybody. If you do not want to see somebody, block or mute them — that is a separate decision and it is yours alone to make.

You are told, and you are told why. A restriction that arrives without an explanation is indistinguishable from a bug, and people who cannot tell those apart stop trusting the platform rather than stopping the behaviour.
